Hey there, Stampin' Friends! Kim here today with a challenge that even threw ME off for a while! LOL! Sometimes I want to make a card, so I grab a piece of card stock, cut it in half, and poof...there's my card base. The biggest decision might be horizontal or vertical?? Hmmm... I have to force myself to use a "fancy fold." It's silly, because some of these folds are quite easy and add a special touch.
The gate-fold is one of the easy ones. Now that I have my NEW Simply Scored tool, I can get my folds just right! I also have recently started using chipboard...something I avoided for years. I really like the numbers, because right now I have no number stamps! Gasp!! Numbers are great for birthday cards, anniversary cards, or even when you incorporate "texting" phrases. So today's challenge goes like this:
- Make a card using the Gate-fold technique (Actually, there are several varieties of gate folds...show us what you got!)
- Or Make a card using Numbers...any numbers, stamped (if you have them!), chipboard, die cut, stickers...
- Or Mash it Up! and make a card with a gate fold AND numbers!
