Hi, It's Heidi here this week. A few years ago, I did a Virtual Stamp Night challenge over at Splitcoaststampers, which was to make a scrapling. It was such a cute little thing, I thought I would bring the challenge back again here.
A scrapling is a little card, notecard, or tag that you would make out of the scraps that are left from your card stock after making a square card. What do I mean? If you started with an A2 card base, 4-1/4 x 5-1/2", and then cut it down to make a 4-1/4" square card, there would be a 1-1/4 x 4-1/4" base left. That's the starting point for your scrapling. It could also be 1-1/2 x 4-1/4", if you had made a 4 x 4" square card previously. It is lots of fun to decorate this small space!
Perhaps you don't make square cards as often as I do... that's ok. Use your scrap patterned paper and ribbon to make a card.
