I think I might have scared some people away with my baby theme this week lol! Nevertheless we had some great entries and I enjoyed seeing how you all encorporated pleating and/or baby into your projects.
Before we get to my Picks this week.. We want to say a Big Thank You to our August Guest Designer Andrea Cook! It was a pleasure working with you... Be sure to stop by her Blog and say Hi and check out some more of her work.
Now without further ado, here are my picks for the Glamettes this week...
Erin's sweet card made me smile with the cute little ducky and those glittery wheels! The unconventional baby colours work brilliantly for a girl or boy, and I love all the additional touches like the ruffled ribbon and embossing. Congratulations Erin!
I love the stamped background Shana has created with the rattle stamp - looks just like designer paper! And that scored background with the added touches of glitter looks fabulous! And who wouldn't smile when they see that piggy's cute punched dummy?! Congratulations Shana!
And my Rock Star this week...
Diane's paper-pieced image won me over as soon as I saw it - the patterns on the duck and umbrella work so well and add to the 'cuteness' factor! I absolutely love how she has created a pleated paper panel then added ruffled ribbon and then more ribbon over the top - such a fabulous combination! Congratulations on being my Rock Star this week Diane!
